Latin College Detention Week: Dance Workshops


Salsa Cha Cha Workshops: Wednesday 17th of May

This workshop will be provided by Hana (Slovenia). She is a former professional 10-dance (ballroom) competitor in both Slovenia and France. She is also a passionate salsa, bachata and kizomba dancer and in her workshops she brings the best of both worlds together.
All over Europe Cha Cha gets increasingly popular at salsa parties. This unique Salsa Cha Cha workshop has been specifically developed to target both salsa and latin (ballroom) dancers. Salsa dancers will learn how to use their knowledge of salsa on Cha Cha music and latin dancers will be able to add a great new eye-catching figure to their routine.
This workshop is open for all levels. Basic knowledge of either salsa or latin is however required. In order to give all participants personal attention there is only spots for the first 40 people that register for the workshop.

Body Language Workshop: Thursday 18th of May
This workshop focusses on learning how to consciously move and use your entire body during a dance. Miguel and Rianne from Vivendi Dance Collective will also explain their philosophy on individual dance and partnerwork. This workshop is an open level. Spots for this workshops are limited!

Urban Bachata Workshop: Friday 19th of May

This workshop will be given by the absolute legends, Sara López and Reda Becili. After a long and successful career separately, teaching and representing their own choreographies all over the world, this dynamic duo decide to join as a dance partner to keep growing and sharing with everybody “their love for dance”.
